Activities for young people

At our church, we have a strong community of young people who meet regularly and participate in activities in the wider community.

Niters meet at 8.00 pm after the Sunday evening service and welcome young people of thirteen and older.

Niters offer you a chance to chill out and chat about life and the issues we face as both Christians and teenagers.

Testament is our youth worship band. It leads worship occasionally at Western Road and regularly at Soul Sessions elsewhere in the town.

Cell groups

A cell group offers time for both light hearted chat and serious discussion and a place to discuss your questions about life and faith —time and place to make friends and learn how Christianity can help you make sense of life today.

Younger youth cell: for eleven to fourteen year olds—on Monday evenings.

Youth cell: for fourteen to eighteen year olds. Meets on Monday evenings.

Uni cell: for those of eighteen years and older and those returning home from university. Meets on Monday evenings.

Youth Club is for young people of thirteen years and older and meets on Friday evenings.

It has something for everyone—football, PS2 and table tennis are just a few of the things on offer. We also serve drinks and chocolate for that energy boost to keep you going.

(Youth club activities are presently suspended but will resume soon.)
